This issue of Art Mag is about doing the right things for yourself and the world around you.

It’s about a 70-year old lady finally adding “major exhibit” to her “resume.” It’s about thinking green and being conscious of the environment, and living in places that inspire you. It’s about creating synergy with other artists and learning how to market your work like a professional. It’s about the power of art to transport you to your own personal Wonderland. It’s also about indulging your senses with great food, wine, and entertainment while giving back to those in need.

Most importantly it’s about following your heart and doing what you love. That could mean quitting the accounting job you hate to become the clothing designer you’ve always wanted to be, or it could be something as simple as gathering your loved ones together for a night at the symphony and a delicious meal. Or, for some like me, it means falling in love with a work of art that puts a smile on your face every time you walk by it.

Life is just too short to do anything else.

Remember what Paul Gaugin said, “I shut my eyes in order to see.”
